Thinking of getting a puppy? Register them with Margaret + Dale at the vet, and do the puppy classes with Joe. These are people are wonderful, really care, and will set you and your dog up for the best start you could hope for. 11/10!

We’ve been bringing our dog Bubu to Amwell Vetinary Practice for years, and it’s impossible to overstate how brilliant Dale and Margaret are. Not only are they kind and genuinely caring, but they’re also incredibly experienced and knowledgeable. Since moving to Southampton, we’ve tried other vets, but none came close. Too many felt like businesses first, vets second. At Amwell, it’s clear the animals come first, always. They give honest advice, avoid unnecessary treatments, and treat every pet like family. Even now, we still travel back to London because we wouldn’t trust anyone else with Bubu. We’re so grateful for everything they’ve done for us — and for always being there when it matters.

Dale and Margaret are amazing. I have a dog and two cats and been going to amwell since they were young. I feel they are in safe hands at Amwell. Dale never over-treats, and would not hesitate to recommend wait and see or minimum intervention when he sees fit. Dale is incredibly experienced and calm. The team is really really patient and professional. Really glad for having such a good vet in the area.

We were first time visitors to this surgery (we are out-of-towners), but had heard good things from London dog owners about Dale. We had made the difficult decision to put our old dog down - it was time - and Dale and Margaret arranged it in such a way that neither I nor my daughter could have imagined a kinder/gentler goodbye. From our first contact by phone and email to our final appointment they were helpful and empathetic. To both of you, thank you for your caring for Humphrey and thank you for caring for us as we lost someone who had been part of our family for 16 years.

It’s always a great experience coming here with my two cats. The team has known them since they were little kittens, and I truly appreciate the care they provide. Even though I now live a bit farther away, I still take an Uber to bring them here because I trust this practice. My cats were spayed and neutered here, and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this place!
