We can't thank Bronwen and the entire team enough for the exceptional care they've given our dog, Alfie, throughout six months of chemotherapy. Everyone - from the vets to the reception team - has been kind, compassionate, reassuring and incredibly professional. They managed to turn what could have been a very difficult and upsetting time into one of fond memories and genuine joy seeing Alfie so excited to go inside for every appointment. The level of care and communication shown to both Alfie and us has been extraordinary. We always felt supported, informed and in the safest possible hands. There are not enough words to express our gratitude to everyone at Brighton Vets. Over the years, we have been to several veterinary practices, but Brighton Vets is simply exceptional. When our beloved Labradoodle, Wilbur, became unwell, we spent months visiting different vets trying to find answers. Then someone recommended Brighton Vets, and looking back, it was one of the best decisions we ever made. From the moment we walked through the door, we knew this practice was different. Every member of staff made us feel welcome, cared for and supported. They don’t just treat your pet – they genuinely care about the whole family. In our experience, their compassion, professionalism and kindness are second to none. A very special thank you goes to Bronwyn. She was like a breath of fresh air from the very first appointment. She diagnosed Wilbur’s condition almost immediately and explained everything with such honesty, care and compassion. Wilbur underwent surgery to remove a tumour from his spine, and we were so grateful that he was given that chance. Sadly, the tumour returned, and we were given the heartbreaking news that nothing more could be done. On 20 July this year, we had to say goodbye to our beautiful boy, Wilbur. He was only eight years old, and losing him has left a huge hole in our lives. Even now, it is incredibly difficult to talk about him without becoming emotional. Wilbur wasn’t just a dog – he was our best friend, our companion and a much-loved member of our family. He had the most wonderful personality, brought laughter wherever he went and filled our home with unconditional love. We will miss him every single day. Throughout this incredibly difficult journey, everyone at Brighton Vets, especially Bronwyn, showed us nothing but kindness, empathy and genuine compassion. They treated Wilbur with such dignity and respect, and they supported us through the hardest decision any pet owner has to make. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything you did for our precious Wilbur. We will never forget your kindness, and we will always be grateful.
