I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at EasiPetCare.
I brought my cat in because of a suspected environmental or food allergy. From the beginning, I clearly explained that my cat had already been through several courses of steroids prescribed by a previous vet and that, despite those treatments, the main problem — constant itching and excessive licking — had never actually improved.
Despite this, more steroids were prescribed again. A week ago, I called the clinic and explained that I was not comfortable giving my cat another 20 days of steroids, especially as this has been going on since May and my cat is still young and has already been taking steroids and antihistamines for months. I said that I wanted them to investigate what was actually causing the problem instead of simply repeating the same treatments that had not worked.
The receptionist told me that there was only one vet working that day, but assured me that I would receive a call back later that day. Seven days have now passed and nobody has contacted me.
I find this lack of follow-up extremely unprofessional, especially when it concerns an animal’s health. I expected more care, communication and genuine interest in finding out what is actually wrong with my cat after months of unsuccessful treatment.
After waiting a full week without even a phone call, I honestly have to question how much attention and care is being given to patients and to the concerns of their owners.
