The 2 stars is just because the receptionist was great..the visit was a complete waste of time and a incorrect diagnosis..made 0 difference to my cat getting better..called the practice the next morning to say he's no different from yesterday and spoke to a different receptionist this time who had attitude and said I would have to wait over 24hrs to bring him back.

I am giving this a 5 star review because today I saw Michael Lockerbie who has been our family vet for many years. He retired but does a few days a week and it was a pleasure to see him again.Prevously I was told by another vet that my cat needed to have over a 1,0000 pounds worth of cat treatment and today I was told, that would not be the case, and because Michael Lockerbie knows his job well it makes me think how some vets are a rip of and try to make money out of you. Michael Lockerbie is a kind, considerate and trustworthy vet I would highly recommend him.

Michael Lockerbie is amazing, I have been seeing him with all my pets for at least 30 years. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient. I understand people’s concerns about Nigel and I don’t see him. I would urge anyone not to be put off by him and certainly not to write off the surgery because of him. I have recently met Johnathan, another vet employed at Fitzgerald’s. He is lovely and very knowledgeable and friendly. One of our cats was attacked by two dogs and he has been treating her for the last five weeks. He was sensible and reassuring. She is now recovered. My thanks to everyone

Fitzgerald's Veterinary practice were excellent on my recent visit with my cat Pablo. Service from Alana was very efficient and made Pablo feel very welcomed, and his vaccination and health checks were excellent. The team provided a top service for our young boy, also advising us on things to keep an eye on and what the next steps are in his treatment. Highly recommend!

If you love your dog and I’m sure you do don’t send them here. Of the 7 years I’ve lived in Catford 6 of those have been Fitzgeralds but the care has seen a distinct drop in professionalism. So much so I’ve moved to Medivet and they have been amazing to date. Nigel is awful and is the sole reason we have moved elsewhere. He is rude, condescending and rushes through options that you have no time to think. I’ve left the practice on many occasions thinking I’m no wiser than when I came in due to the barrage of information thrown at you at such speed. Most of all I don’t think he actually cared for my dog. During a routine tooth extraction he rang me up saying they needed to take a further 10 out, which is excessive as he only went in for one, I said no as that sounds way too much and would probably be agony for my dog afterwards and wanted to get a second opinion. When I went for the post op care the nurses warned me that they didn’t believe he needed a further 10 either, they showed worry and concern (it was a warning) that was being tabled by the vet. This was the final straw and a massive red flag. They’d been racking up by now and for the sake of my dog and wallet I’ve moved on and the care I’ve received from Medivet has been nothing short of exceptional. It’s a shame because this used to be a credible practice. My dog walker has suggested we raise the level of care with the Royal Veterinary.
