I have been with Goddards for more than 20 years. They cared for my cat until her passing. Jaimee especially has been amazing. I adopted a new cat about 5 years ago, he’s had skin conditions but they managed it well. Around March he lost weight and stopped eating. I was assigned a new vet who not only misdiagnosed him with ‘spine pain’ and sent me away with painkillers but - on visit no 5 where he looked frankly annoyed about us returning- could not take his blood to diagnose. He referred me to a hospital in Hammersmith- I made an appointment and asked how much any assessment or treatment would cost. ‘A few thousand’ came the response. I assume Goddard or some individuals might be on commission. I cancelled. I then signed up to a new vet in E3 - Vet in the City. Niven previously treated Rocky at Goddards but set up his own practice. He felt my cat’s lymph nodes were enlarged straight away (how come the other vet didn’t?) and took blood. My cat had cancer. Immediate diagnosis. My cat now is on chemo and doing so well. Great treatment. The ignorance, rudeness and ineptitude of the other guy - who charged me £20 to clean his ears for 10 secs - is astonishing. They get two stars only because they used to be good and caring. Leave Goddards is my advice
