We’ve been with this vet practice for many years now, and I honestly can’t thank them enough for the care and compassion they’ve shown to all our animals over the years. They looked after our first dog Jake so wonderfully, especially during his cancer treatment, and were incredibly kind and respectful when we had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye. It meant the world to us at such a difficult time. We now bring our two rescue dogs (who are a tad bonkers) and our lovely old cat, and the level of care has remained exceptional. The whole team consistently go above and beyond — they are always clear, thoughtful, and genuinely have the animals’ best interests at heart. For example, our 16-year-old cat is due to have dental treatment, and instead of just focusing on preventative care, they’ve taken every step to ensure her comfort and safety in her older age. It’s very reassuring to know she’s in such good hands. The receptionists and the entire team are always welcoming, friendly, and clearly love what they do. Our pets are treated with such kindness, and we always feel listened to and supported. This practice is everything you’d want in a veterinary team — professional, compassionate, and wholeheartedly committed to the wellbeing of your animals. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet that truly cares.

The dedication, expertise and friendliness of this independent vets practice to animals (and their humans !) is brilliant. There will always be someone at the end of a phone if you need help. My two cats are older now and receive the best of care from Helen to keep them happy and pain free. I couldn't wish for a better group of people looking after my animals.

When I moved to Henley-on-Thames nine years ago with my two dogs—a miniature Schnauzer and a Golden Doodle—I chose the Henley Veterinary Centre for their care. I’m now certain it was the right decision. The clinic offers excellent service and is staffed by outstanding veterinarians. My miniature Schnauzer, now over 16 years old, has faced several serious health crises involving his pancreas and gall bladder. Without the superb care he received, I doubt he would still be with us.I only wish my own GP were as conscientious. I recommend Henley Veterinary Centre wholeheartedly.

My experience has been entirely positive. My old dog was at the surgery up until his death in 2014, his arthritis treated professionally and sympathetically by Fiona and team, and his life saved by Helen one Sat when he suffered a gastric issue. I've since come back to Henley with a dog I have rehomed who has complex issues with his ears. Helen has spent a lot of time guiding us through the issues and potential treatment options, and has provided us with lots of research, giving us real confidence and hope we'll find a way forward for our boy. In recent months he has also been diagnosed with a mast cell tumour and both teams at Twyford and Henley have been caring and professional in dealing with my dog and I during the surgery and follow up. Fantastic friendly, knowledgeable independent practice. Staff across all teams are lovely. Cannot recommend enough!
