Greg is a wonderful and experienced vet and all staff at the practice are kind, caring and good to deal with. Reasonably priced compared to others in area and never an issue getting an appointment, even last minute. Highly recommend.

Greg is a fantastic no nonsense vet. It is super easy to get an appointment here, you're never waiting long and he is super efficient when you're in the consult. I used to use Pets At Home until they refused to see our dog in an emergency. Greg agreed to take a look even though the dog wasn't a current patient. Since then, I haven't looked back. I don't know how Greg does these hours by himself, but it's great knowing you're seeing the same vet each time. Prices are super reasonable and they don't take the mick.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else. They have been looking after my boy for years , Straight talking, no nonsense , you are told what is what. I wouldn't trust my boy with anyone else. Thank you for looking after him

We've used Burnt Ash for a few years. It's an independent vet, which is quite rare these days. We're able to get an appointment quickly when required, and it's not too expensive (relatively speaking). You always see the same vet, which is a big plus in my view, and Greg knows his patients. Greg's great - he's no nonsense and firm, which I understand won't be everyone's cup of tea, but he's very experienced, knows what he's talking about, and is an expert handler of our cat. He's also got a very dry sense of humour which I appreciate!

My dog was euthanized here all the dogs I’ve had put to sleep had a cannula put in and then the medication put through this and the end was very peaceful. Here the vet didn’t even greet my dog, instead starting talking about another drug for pain relief, which after googling had some terrible side effects, this discussion had me second guessing myself and asking if I was doing the right thing. My dog had arthritis and her quality of life was diminishing. I wasn’t told or prepared for what I saw. The first injection put my dog into a deep sleep, this was quite peaceful, but the second larger injection that was put into her side caused her to thrash about and sound like she was gasping for breath. I understand she was sedated and was probably and hopefully didn’t feel any pain, but watching you fur baby seem to struggle for breath and her head thrash about was horrific. The vet was stone faced and cold, it is our last few minuets with our pet, yet he made us feel as if she was just another job on a conveyer belt. No kind words or explaining of what we might witness, just the question of this drug to help with pain and it’s £140 a month cost. Surely this should have been discussed before we took her in to cross the rainbow bridge, not why we were so upset about having to say goodbye to her. Unfeeling is an understatement. I would never us this vet again if I wanted a peaceful end to my pets life. The cannula use and the true understanding of how we feel was more outstandingly given when I used the PDSA. A truly upsetting horrific way to see my dog cross over. Never again
