It’s rare to find somewhere that goes above and beyond like Manchester Cat Clinic. From the first visit I felt like they really cared about my cat and took the extra time to make me feel confident and reassured about her care too. We’ve seen three different vets and every one has been caring, patient and has made a real effort to make my cat feel calm and safe. The reception team are also friendly, warm and you can tell everyone loves cats and cares about giving them the best care. The small things around reception like the sign welcoming inpatients or the candle when someone is saying goodbye to their cat make such a huge difference and I just wanted to say a massive thank you!

Surely one of the best vets in the UK.
I'd been taking my Ragdoll (Rupert) to Vets4pets around the region for 8 years (Oldham, Stockport, Salford, Runcorn), I was referred to MCC for his teeth which needed a lot of work due to tooth resorbtion. The vets here are NEXT LEVEL, and far from the "in/out, see you as fast as possible, take your money, next..." approach that V4P has, I felt like they GENUINELY care about the health and welfare of Rupert. They take their time, listen, check everything, care for him, send regular updates (I got photos via WhatsApp and update messages). The vet called me immediately after the procedure to talk through what had happened and which teeth were removed. The process was flawless, and to a very high standard. When I collected him, the nurse took the time to show me how to administer the follow-on medicine, we weren't rushed, she took her time, hands-on demonstrations and showed she cared.
MCC is like BUPA for cats, like fancy private healthcare - but for only a few £ more!
Then unfortunately Rupert got ill at the start of this year. I messaged MCC after a disappointing level of care with V4Ps, and got him transferred over very easily, thank you to the admin team for understanding.
The difference between the level of service, care, time to respond, and veterinary knowhow is INCREDIBLE. Daniel is truly fantastic, he had gone through all the results before arriving, fully examined Rupert and really reassured us, he advised us on one final blood test which basically cleared everything up. He was considerate about costs too, and helped us manage the tests more reasonably.
Rupert is now almost back to normal, so thank you so much for your time and care.
Finally, the reception area is cozy and comfortable, allowing the cats to relax - it feels like a front room, not a vet! No weird smells, no loud barking dogs, and as a result, much less stress whilst waiting. The treatment rooms are light and airy too, and all the staff here are super friendly and really seem to care, thank you to everyone.
I wish I had brought Rupert here sooner, and I will NOT be changing vets again haha. I hope Daniel can continue to look after Rupert for many years to come ☺️

We have had absolutely amazing service from every member of staff here every time we have had to take our cat in. Most recently when our ginger shorthair Garfield had to have a toe amputated following a nasty injury he picked up whilst out exploring.
The nurses, reception staff and especially Dr Eloise Quince gave every impression that their only goal was to give the absolute best care possible to our cat. The atmosphere in the clinic is professional, caring and calm. They were extremely understanding and helped in every way possible regarding payment as we are in tight financial circumstances. Nevertheless the care provided for Garfield was exceptional and it was clear that he was in safe hands during his operation.
I would absolutely recommend this practice for any Manchester cat owner and cannot praise the staff and culture of the establishment enough.

Dr Eloise Quince was great with our cat. We had to wait for around 40mins because of an emergency, but they offered us drinks and were apologetic for the wait - which was not their fault. The reception staff Michelle Flower was friendly and professional.
