Manchester Veterinary Specialists have been exceptional. After a well-known veterinary chain performed surgery on my dachshund incorrectly, I was left incredibly worried and unsure who to trust for help. Thankfully, I found MVS, and the difference in care and outcome has been remarkable. From the first consultation, they were professional, informative, and clearly extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything in detail, answered all my questions, and showed genuine care and attention throughout the process. The revision surgery was a complete success. Since being treated by MVS, my dog has been significantly better — far more comfortable, mobile, and so much happier in himself. It’s been a huge relief to see him return to his normal self. Their attention to detail, clinical skill, and compassion stand out in every way. Without a doubt, the best orthopaedic vets I’ve come across, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of specialist care.

Being a vet myself, I knew what was involved in the surgery for cranial cruciate ligament disease, and understand very well the difference a 'safe' and experienced pair of hands can make to the outcome of surgery. I had every confidence in the team at MVS and I haven't been disappointed. From initial advice, through to the consultation, and then the subsequent surgery, we have been treated with kindness, understanding and patience. Bracken, our dog, has received excellent care and is already remarkably comfortable considering we are only 24hrs post op. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her.

The staff are amazing, over the years they have dealt with 2 of my Rottweilers for tplo . I would not trust anyone else with major surgery on my dogs. You know you can always have peace of mind with the care before during and aftercare. Myself and my 2 boys Drax and Flynn say a massive thank you to all the staff. 🐾🐾🐾

After 16 weeks weeks we have finally had the all clear. Every member of staff at Manchester Veterinary Specialists have treated me my wife and Zeus amazingly, keeping us constantly updated, offering reassurance and always ensuring Zeus is as happy as possible under the circumstances. Zeus hyper extended his ligaments and required pancarpal arthrodesis using plates and bone grafts. We knew it was a big operation but the pre and post care Zeus received was exceptional. The post care routine was well planned out and the staff were always on hand to answer questions if we had any. Zeus is now mostly recovered and after today’s final scan he can finally get back to bigger walks and zoomies. I think it is also worth noting that we found the pricing to be very fair with absolutely no added extras or surprises, the whole pricing structure was discussed on day one and included everything both pre and post operation. Thank you so much!!!

Whilst no dog parent wants their dog to need surgery we can't recommend this place highly enough if you are ever in that unfortunate position. We were referred by our Vet with a suspected cruciate rupture which unfortunately turned out to be correct. We were so impressed with the professionalism, the set up and care given by all the team and were lucky enough to have Anna Condon as our surgeon with whom we have been so impressed, nothing has been too much trouble. We were amazed by the 3d scanning to get the parts perfect for our dogs leg and to enable the surgeon to practice the surgery virtually before the actual op! Like many people our little dog is our world but we have honestly felt she has been in the safest and most caring of hands even down to checking what sort of meal she would like when she was in recovery. If we have had any concerns or queries they have been promptly answered and we have found everyone to be so helpful. Having had ankle surgery myself in a private hospital it is without exaggeration that I say Eva has received a much higher quality of service, care and attention to detail. Early days but so far the signs are very good for her recovery. We cannot thanks you guys enough.
