Definitely recommend this practice, both the receptionist and the attending vet were amazing, so reassuring and patient, and very sweet with my little one. Prices are fairly extortionate though, definitely buy medication online when you can.

Super happy with my first visit to medivet in hornsey. Vet was straight to the point, very friendly, taken by my little kitten Lulu Vialli. Gave me some fantastic tips and genuinely wanted to help and make everything super cost effective.

I have been taking my dog to Medivrt Crouch End for nearly 3 years now. Every visit we had was friendly, professional and on time. They always make sure all my questions are answered whether in person or on the phone. From regular checkups to my dogs post surgery follow ups. When we first moved to the area we wanted to go to Medivet slightly closer to our house but they were full and not taking new patients. Now we would never move. More than happy to walk the extra 15minutes to go this one

My much-loved tabby cat, Andy, was nearing the end of his life, losing weight and getting progressively weaker. He was suffering from hyperthyroidism, renal impairment and chronic diarrhoea. I took Andy to see Lionel, the resident vet, several times and he was always very helpful and pragmatic. I never felt that he was trying to force me to spend money on investigations or treatments that would have little effect. He was also very good at listening to any suggestions I might make (I am a medical doctor) and although one cannot always extrapolate from humans to pets he never ruled my thoughts out of court. He was genuinely caring of Andy who responded by becoming less anxious over his visits. Over the following weeks it became obvious that Andy was dying. He responded for a short time to steroids and Lionel would talk to me over the phone to discuss recurrent prescriptions. The nursing staff were also very helpful and caring when I phoned in with questions. Finally we reached the time when Andy was doing very little and had no appetite. He obviously had no enjoyment left in life so I sadly made an appointment to put him to sleep forever. Half an hour before his appointment I started to get cold feet and was pleased to be able to talk to Lionel straight away who suggested that I should bring him in anyway and we could discuss the situation. Once there Lionel examined Andy and discussed the situation with me without any rush and allowed me to come to the conclusion that the time had come. The process of putting Andy to sleep was handled beautifully and he faded away quite peacefully. Throughout the procedure the behaviour of the staff was exemplary. They couldn't have done more to make a very sad situation tolerable. I am grateful to them all.

My recent MediVet visit was my dog’s initial check up on changing vets, and joining Medivet’s local practice. We were welcomed warmly and seen promptly. Great and friendly vet and keen care and attention was paid my dog. Made us both feel special.
