couldnt get help for a sick cat i just got. i called a vet and they wanted £400 to take it to Mbm kilmarnock so called sspca and they weren’t helping mammals this week??

Arrived to find out you can no longer see the animals, I kinda understand that it is more calming for them however I think that they could still allow this via appointments and that way you can see if there is a bond especially with cats. I am a strong believer that a cat picks you, not the other way about.

For those who remember, we adopted Meg, a tri-coloured collie a year ago on 5th August 2025, a year ago today. A little quiet girl when we first got her. However want to let everyone know she has been amazing and has gained a lots of confidence and now loves running along Portobello beach, Edinburgh, in and out the water, where we live and also having long walks up Arthur seat and other woodland areas. She has been an absolute delight and we love spending each moment with her; she has such a wonderful , gentle nature . She was a start at the East Coast dog training and passed with flying colours and gained a rosette. We want to thank all the staff at the SSPCA, Glasgow for taking her in and caring for her. We feel so lucky to have her in our lives

I called the SPCA for rehoming a cat. Serving Glasgow they have no waiting list. We agreed to call in weekly and ask as they haven't any space all year. I will be calling weekly for a new home for my cat....To rehome a cat may take a year.

We were very disheartened to see a tribute to a controversial political figure who aligned themselves with other politicians who hunt. Can’t support the rspca.
