Took my beautiful Minnie in for treatment this week but unfortunately nothing could be done for her. She sadly passed away. Staff at both the Stalybridge and Hyde branches were fantastic and did their very best to make both Minnie and myself comfortable . My thanks and appreciation to all at both branches. A very caring and compassionate service.

I had a very positive experience at Tameside Veterinary Clinic in Stalybridge today, and I wanted to share my gratitude. I went there to register my cat and ask for an appointment as soon as possible, but due to work commitments during the week, I was limited in my options. Terri at reception was incredibly helpful; she went above and beyond to arrange a consultation for my cat later that same day, towards the end of their working hours. She also kindly advised me on how to request my cat’s medical history from the previous vet and took care of the registration immediately. Chloe, the nurse, was so kind and reassuring, which really helped ease my nerves. And Becca, the vet, was absolutely wonderful—friendly, caring, and thorough. She took the time to answer all my questions, not just those related to the appointment, and explained all the options clearly. Despite the late hour, I didn’t feel rushed at all and appreciated how welcoming and patient everyone was. Overall, the team at Tameside Veterinary Clinic made what could have been a stressful situation much easier. Pets can’t tell us where it hurts, and they can get stressed, but thanks to this amazing team, everything went smoothly. I genuinely can’t thank them enough for their kindness and professionalism. Highly recommend!

Honestly one star review is too high for this place. Took my sick cat here for a solution on what could be wrong with him and all they offered was recovery food and a blood test. Recovery food for a cat that wasn’t eating already shows the incompetence of this veterinary clinic but heck when you think vets you think they are there to help the animal not try and seek as much money out of the customer as possible. They then charged £175 for the bloods and the food when to me it seemed like they already knew the poor fate of the cat. The cat I am talking about passed away yesterday and I believe these vets could have done a better job at giving the cat an easier time. The reasoning I believe they knew the fate of the cat was because they mentioned that if recovery food doesn’t work then Euthanasia was the only other option available which is obscure to me. Any other vets prioritise the animal over profit. They also mentioned the temperature of the cat was normal when simple research shows that if a cat is dying the temperature would not be normal but then the blood tests results came back. It shows that the cat had both liver and kidney disease which would also mean the cats temperature would not be normal. I recommend going those extra few miles to find any other vet than this one. If you care for your pet avoid this place at all costs. I didn’t realise how incompetent they were until I took my cat.

Used this vets for the first time last week to have my male cat castrated and microchipped. The staff were all lovely and took good care of him, they give you lots of information to take home with you regarding the procedure and after care to put your mind at ease. Would highly recommend

Apollo was very happy to go to the vets for his booster, he got cuddles and treats. Lovely staff 👌 x
