I am a professional pet sitter. Unfortunately a rabbit I was caring for was hit with fly strike. By the time I found him it was obviously too late. His regular vet wouldn't book him in for PTS until the end of the business day almost 4 hours away. I called the Exotic Animal Vets and explained the situation and that I simply didn't want this bunny suffering any longer than necessary. Despite being fully booked they told me to bring him in straight away and made time for him. After just one look they had me signing papers to begin sedation and, one thing I found very telling, they didn't even ask about whether I or my client would be sorting the bill until after the rabbit had been made more comfortable- the care of the animal was obviously being placed before payment and profits. Everyone at the Exotic Animal Vet was caring, compassionate and professional and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you for helping Lou have a better send off than it looked like he'd get.

We’ve been seeing Molly and Craig for over 10 years now, originally at their previous practice, and we trust them implicitly. When Molly opened The Exotic Animal Vets in Urmston, we had no hesitation in following her there — even though it’s about an hour’s drive for us, we wouldn’t dream of taking our animals anywhere else. Unfortunately, Molly wasn’t in today, so we had an appointment with another vet in the practice. We’re always a little nervous seeing someone new, but we had no need to worry. We saw Dr Villy, and she was absolutely fantastic — incredibly kind, attentive, and thorough. She took the time to do a full work-up and explained everything with great care and compassion. As always, it was lovely to see Craig’s familiar face and feel his calm, reassuring presence — it really does make a stressful visit that bit easier. The new practice is lovely — bright, airy, and really well-equipped. It’s easy to find with parking close by, and everything about it feels professional yet welcoming. Overall, another excellent experience with a team we trust wholeheartedly. We’re not quite sure what the future holds for our rabbit, but we know she's in the very best hands.

From health checks, vaccinations, diagnostics, surgical procedures, to end of life care, I couldn't be happier with the level of care that my rabbits and lizards have received from the staff at this practice. All of the vets and nurses have an exceptional level of knowledge and they are very friendly. Debbie on reception is extremely helpful and personable, ensuring that I always receive the appropriate advice. My animals have always been treated with dignity and respect when it comes to end of life care, and the vets have shown a lot of compassion when having those difficult conversations. You can tell that they genuinely care for the animals that they see. I can't recommend The Exotic Animal Vets enough

My tortoise needed to see the vet recently & I’m very careful where I take them. I was made aware of this vets by a friend & Molly (the vet) put me at ease immediately as she has her own tortoises. Her advice was brilliant and explained all the options to me (& associated risks and costings). I would highly recommend them to anyone with tortoises & other exotics. I will definitely continue using their services.

Wonderful! They saved my hamster from a bladder stone, despite medication to break it down it kept causing issues. Molly suggested operating to remove it and her and the team did an amazing job removing the stone and keeping him comfortable, he has been so much better since and is thriving! They are the best exotic vets, with an amazing team who truly care and want the best for your pet and you. Thank you so much xx
