⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars – Exceptional Care for Special Dogs I can’t praise The Veterinary Clinic on Walmley Road enough. From the moment you arrive, the team welcome you with warmth and genuine care, and it’s clear they truly love the animals they look after. A very special thank you to Jenny, who is simply outstanding – a true 10 out of 10 in every way. She has been caring for my beautiful dog Skyla, who is an amputee and uses a wheelchair after surviving a traumatic accident. Despite her challenges, Skyla is full of life, and Jenny treated her with such patience, compassion, and respect. It’s rare to find a vet who truly understands the unique needs of disabled and special-needs dogs, but Jenny went above and beyond. She explained Skyla’s care in detail, answered every question without rushing, and made sure Skyla felt calm and safe throughout her visit. The kindness and empathy she showed meant the world to us. The clinic itself is clean, organised, and run by a wonderful team who all share the same dedication to animal welfare. If you have a pet with mobility issues, in a wheelchair, or an amputee like Skyla, I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. They provide not just exceptional veterinary care, but also genuine understanding and support for both you and your pet. Thanks to Jenny, Skyla continues to live her best life with comfort, dignity, and happiness – and for that, we are forever grateful.

We've had a great experience with this practice and couldn't be happier with the care our pets have received. All of the staff are incredibly friendly, compassionate, and consistently go above and beyond to look after the animals in their care. An experience that really stood out was when our dog needed stitches after a bite. The vet managed to perform the surgery the same day, even though our appointment was later in the afternoon. We were so grateful for the responsiveness and dedication of the team. Special thanks to Lorraine, Jenny, and Zdena, who have all provided exceptional care to our dog recently. They were kind, professional, and took the time to make both us and our dog feel safe and well looked after. As pet owners, we always feel listened to. The staff makes sure to explain every option and never pressures us into unnecessary treatments, it's clear they care about the wellbeing of the pets more than anything. The clinic itself is clean and welcoming.

Doctor was lovely. She explained everything so well and in great detail. Reception was wonderful too, they helped me with all the info I needed and everyone made such a fuss over my dog. He was at ease and got lots of pets and lots of love

Absolutely awful .. avoid at all costs Last year my dog went here for a general health check i had noticed a lump on her leg and wanted their opinion on what it was. On two occasions from two veterinarian’s i was told it was nothing to worry about and to leave it alone. After 2/3months i made an appointment at another vet practice and on seeing the lump said it needed to be looked into and not to leave it alone at all and tests needed to be done. Imagine how upset we were to hear it was in fact a cancerous tumour that now because of its position could not be removed and the only chance of cure was amputation. Shame on you for your dismissive and wrong opinion which has now possibly cost our very much loved dog her life or a shorter one at best No compassion care or real interest from them at all …the two individuals should not be in the profession and i intend to find out the names of both and update lets name and shame these so called professionals who pretend they care about our animals

Absolutely shocking first experience from this vet, “Pete” the vet carer has no shame, more interested in going home “in 10 minutes” than doing a professional job and care work! Spent £160 only to return back home with my dog in a worse state than when I took her there! Look at how “Pete” left my dog.
