Used online system for appointments and they just emailed saying they don’t have any on that day. What a way to waste time. Could have offered alternative slots. They were also rude to my sister on the phone so she left. Enjoy declining client numbers.

I don’t usually post reviews but please stay away from this place if you love your pet! They need to work on their pet and people skills. Firstly we arrived for a 9am appointment along with 6 other people and only 3 vet rooms- they are clearly very greedy and only care for profit over experience as they are overbooking! We should have left when a man showed up to reception and said he had been given dog worming tablets instead of cats. Truly showing their lack of care. We saw a vet called Kate and feel truly offended by her treatment of us and our cat. We queried an extremely high price only to be made to feel guilty and be referred to as “low income” which is not the case! She was extremely rude and we came out with more questions than when we went in. When she knew she couldn’t get any money from us for any treatment she stopped engaging with us or even helping our cat with applying a very simple bandage. These people are not animal people or even people people! Please stay away.

I brought my kitten to this clinic when she began showing signs of serious respiratory distress. She was diagnosed with pneumonia based on an X-ray and was sent home with antibiotics. I trusted the diagnosis and followed the treatment plan. Tragically, just a short time later, my kitten had to be put to sleep due to how severe it became. After seeking a second opinion, I learned that she was actually suffering from a severe heart condition, not pneumonia. The original diagnosis was not only incorrect—it meant she didn’t receive the urgent care she truly needed. What’s more concerning is that the vet later admitted the X-ray equipment they used was not advanced, which raises serious questions about how reliable the diagnosis ever was. The pain of losing her is something I carry every day, and knowing that a more accurate diagnosis or better equipment might have changed the outcome is devastating. I understand that no clinic is perfect and not every case has a happy ending—but pet owners deserve transparency, up-to-date diagnostics, and the option of a referral when a case is complex or uncertain. I’m writing this not out of anger, but out of heartbreak, and in the hope that sharing our story may help prevent another pet from being misdiagnosed—and another person from going through the pain of an avoidable loss.

I recently cared for an unwell cat that my neighbors had kicked out. Suspecting he was unvaccinated, he became very ill with symptoms like vomiting, lethargy, and low body temperature. I nursed him with syringe feeding and an electric heat pad. Given my neighbor's dog had similar symptoms and died, I was extremely worried. On Easter (Sunday), I checked the Beckton Vets4Pets website, which stated they were open from 10:30. This was incorrect and the website wasn't updated. I called Romford Vets4Pets (AMAZING RECEPTIONIST) out of hours and scheduled a consultation without issue. However, I canceled as my cat started eating on his own and I didn't want to stress him with a long journey. They were very understanding and told me to call back if my cat got unwell again. BAD review is about Beckton receptionist (I was not able to see the vet): On Monday at 10:00, the Beckton Vets4Pets receptionist called me back after I had requested app online (on Sun) and refused to give me an appointment, stating I needed to go to my regular out of hours vet as I wasn't registered with them. She suggested Wanstead Goddards for out-of-hours care, which costs £280. I believe this is INCORRECT INFORMATION! Despite knowing my cat was extremely unwell and acknowledging a virus was going around, she advised me to go to my regular vet next time. I care for 16 TNR cats and 5 others, and sometimes use Goddard in Plaistow as I no longer can use Celia Hammonds (no vets). As I do not drive these vets are easy for me to reach with a bus. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful, saying she called to check on my cat. I will never use your services again. I've heard and read bad reviews, and I'd rather pay extra elsewhere than deal with such poor service and not knowing if cat gonna be taken care of anyway. Utterly disgusting.

I am devastated and furious at the negligence that led to my beloved cat Bonnie’s unnecessary suffering. I brought her in, worried about a rapid decline in vision and unusual behaviour. The vet, Agata Malaga, falsely diagnosed her with Glaucoma, telling me her eye pressure was dangerously high—yet on the appointment notes state it was completely normal. She was prescribed painful medication that caused her distress, and within days, she was blind, unable to walk, seizing and deteriorating rapidly. I begged for urgency when Bonnie’s condition worsened, but this practice showed nothing but indifference. No compassion, no responsibility—just delay after delay. When I finally saw a specialist, I learned the truth: Bonnie NEVER had Glaucoma. She had a rare and aggressive neurological lymphoma that should have been properly investigated from the start. Instead, this practice's laziness and incompetence stole the precious time she had left, leaving her to suffer unnecessarily. Bonnie’s final days were filled with pain and fear because of this practice. Their negligence cost her comfort, and it cost me my last moments with her. I will never forgive them. DO NOT trust them with your pet’s life!!! I wish I had read the reviews before trusting them with my beautiful Bonnie—there are so many reviews that have shared similar horror stories!!!
