Been taking my 10 year old dog here for a while now and have always been happy with the service until today. I took my dog in multiple times suspecting some sort of gum/tooth infection but after a few visits the vets said was it was just some plaque, so I tried everything recommended but the bad breath was still there. So I decided to try a different vet to be told by them that it is an gum/tooth infection that has clearly been here a while, I now have the right medication to try but since it hasn't been aware to me quick enough there is now chance that he needs surgery to get his teeth removed. Really not something you would expect from such a highly rated place.

Love our vet! They're knowledgeable and friendly, and always greet our daft, overexciteable dog with a smile.

On the 10/1/25 our cat went into surgery to have neutered procedure done, once they handed her back over in her carrier we took her straight home and found that they had left the cannula in her paw! They didn’t put a different colour badge on to say they had took it out, it was completely missed! When questioned about it they said “she’s too fluffy” which is a S*** excuse considering you put all your trust in them to put your pets safety and wellbeing first especially during and after a procedure! Wouldn’t recommend!

Been with Vet4pets since I got my dog at 8 months old, he is now 5 years old.A few months ago he had an allergic reaction after a groom, took him to Vet4pets Leigh total cost £68. He got another reaction in a different place 3 weeks ago, this time for some reason it cost me just short of £200 ?, work that one out?, because I can't. I have since changed veterinary practice and will not be using this one again. Be warned if you don't want to be ripped off.

It is a good vets, in the Leigh area.. the way they comforted me 5/2/24 and how they comforted me a few years with my cat, a okish team. A room was set up to give me more privacy and time to prepare myself of what was to come. Coming out of the vets they just allowed me to come home and grieve. They gave me the time and dignity to spend with my dog before and after, who had to be put to sleep and I was allowed to be with him too whilst they did what they had to do The team were outside the consultation room door and said that they were they there if I needed them. The only fault that I had with them was not being able to even get a paw print from my dog, even though I was promised this - please don’t make promises, that you can’t keep 🙏💔🐾
