The nurse and vet were both kind and friendly . They clearly explained the spaying procedure beforehand and gave thorough aftercare instructions, which really put me at ease. Great service and care!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this vet clinic. I brought my dog in because his back paws were suddenly paralyzed, expecting a thorough examination and some professional advice. Instead, the vet barely assessed him and immediately jumped to the worst-case scenarios—either an operation or euthanasia—without offering any real guidance, alternative treatments, or even explaining what might be causing the issue. There was no compassion, no effort to discuss possible solutions, and no reassurance. Just a cold, rushed response that left me feeling helpless. A responsible vet should explore all options, provide clear explanations, and show some level of care for both the pet and the owner. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who values thoughtful and compassionate veterinary care.

Recently left Vets4Pets Oldham, so decided to now leave a review. When I brought my dog in for his first assessment, the vet couldn't ascertain the dogs gender. Firstly addressing my dog as a female, before I had to correct them. This was concerning having just given my dog a health checkup, but thought it was just a lapse in judgement. However I since noticed other issues. When trying to pick up medication for my dog, I was told that the medication could not be found and took a good 30 minutes to locate. This included being asked numerous times if I was sure it was delivered. The final nail in the coffin was when they never informed me of my dog's annual vaccinations being due, despite taking a record of his vaccinations (and dates they were administered) when signing up. I was then forced to pay a restart fee after I enquired why we'd not been contacted, as the vets would not take ownership. Apart from the above issues, there are a few minor issues to note. Elk Mill charge for you delivery of flee and worm treatment, however the Broadheath Vets4Pets does not. I've also never once been called when medication has been delivered to the store to let me know it's arrived, I've always had to call up to enquire. On the flip side, the staff are always courteous and kind when you arrive. Vets4Pets at Elk Mill seems to be poorly managed, and it's unfortunate I've had to take my business elsewhere. I'd recommend doing the same.

Reliable place for anything pet related. I use it regularly and it's fairly well stocked. There's pretty much everything pet related- including the vets themselves

I had to make a very tough, yet right decision for my beautiful 19 year old girl, Tammy yesterday. On ringing the Vets, they fitted Tammy in at short notice and were very accommodating and caring. Not only did we get offered a consultation room for privacy on arrival but the Vet (Miriam) was extremely patient, calm and kind. A very difficult time but a huge thank you for everything yesterday.
