My elderley dog Pippa had become unwell with no obvious cause and the symptoms she was displaying suggested it may be her time to leave my side. She wasn't eating, or drinking, her breathing was laboured and strange, she was lethargic and very unsteady on her feet.
I called this place to see the vet and explained to the lady on the phone that I needed an appointment today as I suspected my elderly dog was dying. She gave me an appointment for the following day saying the vet was busy today with operations, do they really only have one vet surely a practice of this size needs more than one.
Pippa passed away the following morning around 6am with me by her side, something which was not pleasant to experience.
I called my Mum because I didn't know what to do at the time in the muddleheaded state I was having just watched my little friend die. She called her own vets ,Greenwood Veterinary in South Ruislip, who were fantastic they got us to come in as soon as possible at the best time of day to ensure no other clients would be there in case I was distraught or needed more time to say my goodbyes. They were incredibly kind and caring showing me great empathy and giving me all the time I needed, they even posted me a beautiful condolences card signed by all the staff. When we told them about the complete lack of haste from Vets4Pets they were absolutely disgusted and said they would have had me come in straight away so my lil Pip didn't have to suffer like she did. They treated Pip with dignity and respect I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Vets4Pets could take some notes from Greenwood as they are far superior.
If you live locally to South Ruislip DO NOT trust Vets4Pets South Ruislip and definitely do head straight to Greenwood Vets just up the road who will actually care for your pet.
