I took my dog Bruin there because she wasn’t eating much and I was worried, she didn’t look sick at all, I wanted just blood tests but the vet Dr Kim wanted to keep her, hydrated her and give her meds as well as lab tests. All I wanted was blood tests which she did and also gave her medication , no hydration and did not keep her and charged me over 700 pounds! I am from the States and I thought our vets were expensive but that was ridiculous. I felt the vet was not experienced or was just taking advantage, I didn’t complain at the time, don’t know why but I just looked at the credit card bill from last month and it reminded me. Stay way from this vet unless you are very rich and can afford useless treatment My dogs lab tests were fine and so is my dog.

For the past five years, Village Vet Highgate has provided exceptional veterinary care for my Birman cat, Lilibell. Recently, she required life-saving surgery, which led to numerous visits, discussions, and thorough post-operative checks. Throughout this challenging time, Dr. Sheldon and Dr. Eva treated Lilibell with the utmost care and compassion, going above and beyond to ensure her well-being. Dr. Sheldon, a highly skilled veterinary expert, along with his dedicated team, consistently delivers outstanding care, and I cannot recommend them enough. Their commitment to excellence is matched by the compassion and attentiveness of the entire staff. I have never been turned away and have always had access to speak with the veterinarians when needed. The front-of-house team, including the wonderful Becky, Jennifer and her colleagues, has also been incredibly supportive. I am profoundly grateful for the thorough medical attention Dr. Sheldon provided, which ultimately saved Lilibell’s life. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to everyone at Village Vet Highgate for their unwavering dedication to high-quality veterinary care.

Have always provided excellent care for our French pointer, Bonnie. Not the cheapest, but worth the money for our four legged friend!

Village Vet have always been very friendly and genuinely seem to care for their patients. We found a lost dog the other night, and after a phone call we bought him to the 24 hour Village Vets in Belsize Park. They scanned the dog and found he was under their care. They rang the owner and we left him with them to be reunited. All done with great friendliness and efficiency, despite the late hour. Good work!

Excellent, caring service with a very sensitive approach toward budget. Our beloved, and uninsured, cat Albert had persistent, mysterious health issues throughout the last few months of 2018. Sheldon provided incredibly thorough care, whilst always being mindful to do diagnostic examinations in stages to be respectful of our budget - never doing unnecessary examinations until all other options had been eliminated. Albert received top notch medical care the whole way and is now in full health again. Many thanks to the team at Village Vet Highgate for constantly going above and beyond to deliver the best care. My original review in early 2018: Had to take our cat Albert in for a haircut and some dental work. The vets were lovely and did a fantastic job - he's a new man since having 3 rotten teeth removed, a much happier chap. The whole process was handled fantastically at Village Vet Highgate, with us being kept constantly updated by phone on Albert's progress. He's had a few complimentary check-ups since the procedure to ensure all is healing well, and because he had dental work he now receives complimentary 6 month dental checks for the rest of his life.
